March 30th

We placed high focus on deadlift technique and it paid off. Phil and Joel nailed new PR’s pulling 365 and 345, respectively. Newcomer Dustin Wilson managed to lift 2x his bodyweight when he pulled 315 lbs. In between evening sessions Chad Bauman took on Crossfit Benchmark Girl “Linda”, aka 3 bars of death, and finished this WOD under 17 minutes with full squat cleans. Then it was time for our Rogue workout of the day. Usually countdown workouts will become easier as you near the finish. This WOD however became tougher as it seemed that you could never escape the overhead plate hold walking lunges.
